UPDATE MANHUNT- REQUEST FOR COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE
On Sunday, July 14, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, San Angelo Police Department, and Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the 800 block of US Hwy 87 South in reference to a gunshot victim. The victim was transported to Shannon Medical Center. Witnesses on scene stated a Hispanic female and black male were seen running north from the incident into a wooded area. A perimeter was established, and a ground search was initiated.
Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, San Angelo Police K9 and Drone units, and Texas Department of Public Safety ground and aircraft units all assisted in the search. After 9 hours of searching and exhausting all possible leads, the search was terminated. During the course of the search, clothing items were found that were described as being the clothing the suspects were last seen wearing, therefore, we have no known clothing description. The suspects' identities are not known at this time. The suspects' last known area of location is in the 1300 block of Lone Star Lane. Suspects are described as being a Hispanic female, approximately 5'4" of thin build, and a black male, thin build, unknown height. They may be traveling together or may have separated. The Tom Green County Sheriff Office asks the public to remain vigilant. If you see anything or anyone suspicious, please contact 911. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
UPDATE- Female suspect Gloria Jaramillo has been taken into custody.
UPDATE: Male suspect has been identified as Michael D. Pacheco, H/M, 01-16-1987, 5-07, 150lbs. Pacheco is considered armed and dangerous. If suspect is spotted, do not approach and call 911.
