UPCOMING EVENT: INVESTIGATOR STEVEN CARNES MEMORIAL 5K RUN
The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office would like to invite the community to the Steven Carnes Memorial 5K Run and Walk, benefiting San Angelo Christian Academy, scheduled for 9:00 AM, Saturday November 04, 2023. Participants are encouraged to gather at the Angelo Christian Academy, 518 Country Club Road for the event.
Investigator Carnes passed away during the early morning hours of Sunday, November 13, 2022, due to a medical emergency that was suffered as he attempted to make an arrest in San Angelo.
Investigator Carnes was previously employed by the Bastrop Police Department and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. He was a Texas Municipal Police Association member for nearly 25 years.
