TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO OVER 100 GRAMS OF METHAMPHETAMINE BEING SEIZED, SUBJECT ARRESTED

On February 14th, 2025, patrol deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near North Bryant Boulevard and West 16th Street in San Angelo.   During the stop, the deputy developed probable cause and conducted a search.  The driver, Sheila Tatum, 60 YOA, was in possession of over 100 grams of Methamphetamine and $3,000.00 in US Currency. Tatum was arrested and charged with POSS CS PG1/1-B 4-200.

In the last month alone, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office has conducted criminal enforcement that has led to well over 400 grams of Methamphetamine and various other narcotics, along with several stolen vehicles and firearms, being removed from the streets of Tom Green County.
