TGSO SEEKS OUT POTENTIAL VICTIMS AFTER ARREST OF CHILD PREDATOR
On February 27, 2024, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant in the 4100 block of Ben Ficklin Road. The probable cause for the search warrant was developed from information received from the Colorado Springs Police Department in Colorado. Colorado Springs PD identified suspect Juelz Armstead while conducting a child exploitation investigation. Armstead was subsequently arrested for four felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant out of Colorado. Multiple digital devices belonging to Armstead were seized during the search warrant.
Juelz Armstead, 20 YOA of San Angelo, has previously been investigated and arrested by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office in December of 2022 for Possession of Child Pornography.
While conducting a lawful search of some of the digital devices, the sheriff's office has reason to believe there may be other child victims of sexual exploitation. If you believe you or your child may be a victim of Armstead, the Sheriff's Office asks that you contact the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office or your local law enforcement agency and reference this investigation.
Armstead is currently held in the Tom Green County Detention Center with no bond. Homeland Security Investigations assisted in the search warrant.
