SHERIFF’S OFFICE TRAINING IN THE GRAPE CREEK AREA

Between the morning and early afternoon hours on Monday, December 9th, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office will conduct realistic training in Grape Creek.  This will occur in the area of the 8300 block of US Highway 87 North, in the neighborhood on the south side of the highway.  Citizens in that area may hear and see a significant amount of Sheriff's Office vehicles and personnel.  This is a realistic training exercise and there may be loud noises and actions, emergency lights, and visible weapons during the exercise.  This will be confined to a specific designated area.  If you have an emergency in the area during this time, please contact the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office as usual.  The Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department may be seen with their vehicles assisting with traffic control as well.  Thank you and we are proud and excited to train within the communities we serve.
