SHERIFF'S OFFICE SEEKS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE
The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance in identifying multiple suspects involved in a recent spike in criminal activity involving the theft of heavy equipment (mid-sized utility tractors), trailers, motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles in Tom Green County, specifically in the Quail Valley area.
The following are approximate dates/locations where the thefts occurred:
(Theft #1) 10/13/2023 2700 block Red Creek Road, Mahindra Tractor (attempted to steal ATV but FAILED)
(Theft #2) 10/31/2023 2300 block O'Bryan Lane, 2023 Yanmar Utility Tractor and a Suzuki KingQuad.
(Theft #3) 12/7/2023 1200 block Red Creek Road, John Deere Skid Steer
(Theft #4) 12/2023 6200 block Green Oakes Drive, Mahindra Tractor, flatbed utility trailer (trailer recovered in Quail Valley).
The below photographs were taken of suspect vehicles at the scene of these offenses.
Photo #1 and Photo #2 depict a white, newer model Chevrolet pickup truck.
Photo #1 also depicts a dark color pickup (Possibly Dodge) with a dove tail trailer.
The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office would like to share this information with the community and request residents take steps to secure their property, be on the lookout for vehicles matching the description provided and report any sightings.
