SHERIFF'S OFFICE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN PURSUIT AND ARREST

On Thursday, May 20, 2021, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office was conducting follow-up investigation on several recent burglaries and copper metal thefts.    A suspect was developed and located in the 700 block of N. Buchanan.    While attempting to make contact with the suspect, the suspect fled in a stolen vehicle and a pursuit was initiated.  The pursuit ended when the suspect crashed into a residence on State Court street.   The suspect fled on foot and was ultimately located hiding in a storage shed in the 100 block of Arlington.  

The suspect was identified as Nicholas Adam Medina, 37 YOA.    Medina was found to have an outstanding parole violation (blue warrant) and a warrant for evading arrest and detention.   Medina remains in the custody of the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office with additional charges pending.  No one was injured during this police action.  The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the San Angelo Police Department.
