Injured Juvenile

On June 5, 2017 the Sheriff's Office received a call in reference to a injured juvenile in the 9900 block of Raccoon Road, in Grape Creek, Texas.  

Upon the deputy's arrival, he observed a female juvenile with a towel wrapped around her hand.  The Deputy used his first aid kit and began treating the injury. 

During the investigation it was learned a female juvenile and another juvenile were attempting to remove a lodged .223 caliber cartridge from a barrel that had been removed from a firearm.  One juvenile was holding the barrel while the other juvenile attempted to remove the stuck cartridge from the barrel.  

San Angelo Fire Department Medic 6 arrived on scene and transported a female juvenile to Shannon Medical Center for non-life threating injuries. 

The incident has been turned over to the Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation.
