On 10/15/2024, Jordan Velez, age 38, was booked into the Tom Green County Jail for three felony Motion to Revoke Probation warrants.

Back in 2022 and 2023, the Sheriff's Office conducted multiple criminal investigations where it was determined Jordan Velez had defrauded over 15 victims out of hundreds of thousands of dollars in money and assets.

Jordan Velez previously was the owner of several businesses in the San Angelo area including JC Asset Management and Viking Rental Services.

On May 29, 2024, Jordan Velez plead guilty in the 51st District Court to three felonies:

1. Theft of Property $150,000 < $300,000
2. Theft of Property $2,500 < $30,000 enhanced 
3. Theft of Property $2,500 < $30,000

For his guilty plea, Jordan Velez was sentenced to a total of 10 years of probation.  As of September 2024, Jordan had committed multiple violations of his probation, and the Motion to Revoke warrants were issued by the District Court.
