Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and Texas Parks & Wildlife Department would like to take the opportunity to thank the citizens of Tom Green County and other law enforcement agencies who submitted tips concerning this offense.  On December 7, 2016, two suspects in connection with this incident were identified and apprehended by Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens.  During the investigation it was learned that the suspects used a crossbow to kill the buck then dragged it into the woods where it was located.  Charges are pending.
